Real Time GPS Tracking

MobileTracker reader Allen Smith wrote in to us with a link to his unique Java application for Motorola i88 phones (just $9.99 after rebate). The phone has a built in GPS which the application uses to post coordinates to a Perl script running on his webserver that logs his location (this happens every two minutes). He's got some background info here, and example of the Map you can produce here, and links to download the files here. Near as we can tell currently Allen is sleeping--or at least not moving.
