Nextel's Nationwide Direct Connect service will begin rolling out today.
By June 16th, the service will available in over 50 percent of Nextel markets. It will be available to 100% in August.
Just like in local DirectConnect, Nextel customers will be able to connect using push-to-talk in less than a second between any of the cities within these areas.
