Sprint eyes labels for ring tones

CD's aren't selling, so record labels are looking to ink a contract to turn top 40 hits into ringtones. Sprint PCS aims to use real clips of the songs as ring tones instead of the monophonic tones that are prevalent today. They [Sprint PCS] are also working on a service that would allow consumers to stream songs to their phone (for a fee). It's not clear how useful this is, but record labels are hungry for cash.
