Keytouch promises fast input on the go

infoSync noted a new text input technology dubbed KeyTouch aims to speed up mobile text. Most users are now using a predictive text engine called T9 which is owned by AOL. It uses a combination of buttons and 4-way keypads to allow users to "touch type", although that has yet to have proven. It looks pretty complicated since 4-way keypads never seem to be popular when they are small, but T9 isn't the best either. It's clear that in the next few years we're going to see a big change.
