nokia_3660.jpgNokia has announced the next generation of the Nokia 3650, the 3660. This confirms the report we made last month when the phone (at the time unannounced) was approved by the FCC. It looks identical to the smash-hit 3650, except that it lacks the almost universally unliked keypad design. However, there are some subtle changes such as a beefed up screen. Here's the scoop (not all new features): * 65,000 color LCD (up from 4,096) * Xpress-on covers * Bluetooth * VGA camera with video (RealOne comes onboard) * 24 chord polyphonic ringtones * 16 MB memory card The US version will be dubbed the 3620 and will have GSM 850/1900 instead of the tri-band 900/1800/1900 of the 3660. Shipping of both models is expected to start this year.
