Verizon and Nextel woo switchers
According to a
report by RCR Wireless News, Verizon and Nextel have benefited from local number portability. T-Mobile and Sprint PCS have had about no change in subscriber numbers, while Cingular and AT&T Wireless have dipped.
AT&T Wireless' drop is most likely due to its massive problem with activating GSM subscribers.
