Nokia to become majority partner in Symbian

Via a deal worth well over $200 million, Nokia will become Symbian's majority partner. The cash will leave Nokia with a 63% share of the mobile software company. The details of the transaction are $173 million in cash plus $1.56 for every Symbian device shipped for the next 2 years.
