confirmed rumors today by announcing a new OS plan. Two operating systems will be marketed: one for handheld organizers and one for cheaper smartphones. Palm OS Cobalt, AKA Palm OS 6, is aimed at high-end devices. Palm OS Garnet is aimed at lower-end smartphones. We
mentioned this rumor last week.
