Verizon Wireless adds 1.4M customers

Verizon today announced Q1 2004 earnings, and the results for Verizon Wireless are impressive:

• 1.4 million total net customer additions
• Customers total nearly 39 million
• Revenue growth of 21.2 percent ($6.2 billion for the quarter)

AT&T Wireless was the only major US wireless carrier to announce a decrease in subscribers.
