Verizon Wireless TXT goes global

Jun 15 2004 - 12:53 PM ET | SMS, Verizon Wireless
Verizon Wireless has made its SMS network go global, with service in countries such as Mexico, the UK and Japan. However, only certain carriers are supported for each country, you need to check the list before sending. For messages sent to Mexico, Puerto Rico and Canada, standard text message fees apply. For other countries (exluding the US), international fees apply: $.25 for each message sent and $0.02 for each message received.
