Report: DoCoMo looks to Motorola for phones

A Dow Jones News Wire report [subscription] reveals details of a NTT DoCoMo plan to have Motorola begin making 3G handsets. Nothing has been settled yet, but a deal could be announced as soon as the end of the month.

Most of DoCoMo's phones are made by NEC, Fujitsu and Matsushita. However, the company recently announced it will start shipping phones from Nokia.
