AT&T Wireless drops Motorola V600

As we reported would happen, AT&T Wireless has dropped the Motorola V600. The company
started shipping the V600 back in March. Cingular Wireless
dropped the V600 in July. It is not known if the upcoming merger between the two companies played a role in the move. AT&T Wireless launched two new other Motorola phones in place of the V600--the
V505 and
V180.
