T-Mobile USA takes top retail satisfaction slot

T-Mobile USA has been a customer service champ of late--the company was recently rated by J.D. Power and Associates for the best customer care and was just today awarded with with highest setail sales satisfaction. The J.D. Power and Associates study measures overall customer satisfaction performance of the major wireless carrier-branded stores based on four factors (listed in order of importance): sales staff (44%); price/promotion (28%); store display (14%); and store facility (14%). Here's how the big co's that scored above average ranked: # T-Mobile - 109 (particularly high ratings in sales staff) # Nextel - 103 # AT&T Wireless - 102 # Verizon Wireless - 101 Also interesting to note, the average transaction takes approximately one hour to complete (from the customer coming in the door until the customer leaves with a phone).
