FCC approves AT&T Wireless buyout, source

Reuters is reporting by way of an anonymous source that the FCC has approved Cingular's purchase of AT&T Wireless. Three of the five commissioners are said to have voted in favor of the deal, though with some divestitures in markets where competition would be eliminated. It is still possible for all five commissioners to approve the deal, the two Democrats have not voted yet. No official comments were given by any party involved.
