Sony Ericsson GC89 EDGE card [CTIA IT 04]
Sony Ericsson yesterday announced a new EDGE data card for laptop computers. The Sony Ericsson GC89 is a quad-band EDGE card with support for EDGE class 10 (up to 247 kbps).
Besides EDGE, the GC89 also supports WiFi (802.11b and g) in case your laptop does not have it built in. The GC89 will be available starting Q4 2004 for operator acceptance testing and customer trials, with full commercial availability slated for Q1 2005.
