Samsung A790 shipping from Sprint PCS
Sprint PCS is now carrying the Samsung IP-A790. It's a CDMA/GSM phone that is sold to business users for world roaming. The A790 has been
shipping from Verizon Wireless for nearly a year.
Features of the Samsung IP-A790 include:
* 176 x 220 pixel 262K color TFT main display
* 65K color TFT external display
* VGA camera
In countries with a GSM network that Sprint has a roaming agreement with (see
map), calls are $1.50 a minute with no long distance. Look for the Samsung A790 in stores and online starting in March for $549.99.
