T-Mobile USA adds street level coverage maps

Through its website, T-Mobile USA has made detailed street level coverage maps of its wireless network public. If accurate, these maps add a whole new level of transparency to the US wireless industry. The maps use an 11 point scale to judge from Good to None. Search is available by address (full or partial) and intersections. Note that the data is meant to represent coverage outside as inside conditions can vary widely by building materials and design. Earlier this month MobileTracker ran an article about a real-life Verizon Wireless test man, but detailed coverage information is not made public.
