Moto Q announced, BlackBerry competitor

MOTONOW -- Motorola has taken the wraps off its BlackBerry competitor, it's called the Moto Q. Motorola is billing the handset as the smallest QWERTY phone on the market.

  • Windows Mobile 5.0 OS
  • 1.3 megapixel camera
  • Out of the box support with Exchange 2003
  • RAZR thin design, .45" thick

The Moto Q is expected to be available in Q1 2006. Pricing or potential carriers were not announced (according to Motorola the Moto Q could ship in GSM or CDMA without significant style changes).
