Opera Software today announced that Google will be the default search engine for both of its mobile web browser products. This includes the widely acclaimed Opera Mobile and the new (not yet widely available) Opera Mini. The one-year deal will make Google part of Opera's homescreen.

The desktop version of Opera recently became free thanks to a deal with Google that has the search giant paying a small amount for each Opera user.
