Fandango teamed up with Sprint Nextel to launch a mobile ticketing service available to Sprint subscribers. Fandango is available for 70% of movie theaters that support remote ticketing and also sells tickets via the web and phone. Fandango's mobile site (mobile.fandango.com) is available to most mobile phone users, but Sprint is the first carrier to actively promote it.
Besides the mobile site, Fandango has an SMS shortcode to retrieve movie details from. Text FNDGO (36346) a movie title and US ZIP code and you'll receive back information about the film and where it's playing near you.
