A 13-year old New Jersey girl that went missing on Monday has sent her mother a series of chilling text message describing her situation. One of the messages reads:
"Someone was following me and I just don't remember what happened. I just woke up in a basement. I'm scared."
Other messages have stated she was forced to do, "disgusting stuff" and that she is going to be moved to New York. Other details of the case are not public. So far only SMS messages have made it through, no calls have taken place. The article has not mentioned why the cell carrier hasn't pinpointed her location.
UPDATE: She was found, there is obviously a lot of doubt with the facts of her story, but she is safe.
There are moments like this that actually make you think twice. As a mother you fear that this will never happen to your daughters and after instilling good qualities and training into your sons they never do such a thing.
But then there is that moment that you would pray your child would NOT do such a foolish thing.
If it was my daughter who knows what i would do,flipping out is not the only thing,I would be so torn as a mother. This kid have no idea what her mother was going through.
Do I feel sorry for the girl,NO!..sympathetic that she wants to grow up so fast and have no idea how many of us wish we were all still young or go back to being 13 again. She actually seems to have low self esteem and is certainly not occupied enough for her to have this much time on her hands to associate with much older boys/men.
I feel terrible for the mother but if you know 90% of your child's moment you would not have a high chance of this happening. You can never know their every given moment but at 13 you are SUPPOSE to know where your child will be at least 90% of the time .
Hearing this story sent a chill through my body ....now i am just disgusted!
Oh, i think soon she will buy a new gps phone

I hope you post a follow-up when it's discovered that this is either a) a hoax altogether or b) a hoax by the girl because this sure sounds fake.
