Cingular Wireless furthered its integration with hit Fox show American Idol by offering several ring tones created from recordings of contestants on the show. The real music ring tones feature the actual recordings made on the show and will be made available the day after airing. The promotion starts with the episode airing tonight and will continue through the rest of the show.
Live Idol Ringtones are available nationwide for $2.49 per ringtone. Cingular subscribers can text "IDOL" to 8008 for a direct link to the ring tones. A Cingular website also lists the tones available online.
