CTIA 2006 -- Motorola is showing off its Follow Me TV technology that allows users of Motorola set top boxes to shift around their recorded TV content. TV programs can be transfered to mobile handsets, such as the RAZR V3x. The limiting factor is that Motorola does not publically sell its DVR set top boxes, they are available only through cable companies.
Besides viewing pre-recorded content on a mobile device, Motorola has enabled the DVR to be programmed through the phone. DVR leader TiVo has a similar feature in addition to online programming.
