Motorola boosts US marketshare to 29%

Motorola saw another increase in its US mobile phone handset marketshare as numbers for Q1 were released. Total market share was up 2%, hitting 29% which was the highest of any company. Worldwide Nokia is the leader, with Motorola coming in second. According to analysis from The NPD Group, US consumers purchased 35 million handsets in the quarter.
