Sprint Nextel has been busy announcing anything new about its EV-DO Revision A rollout while Verizon Wireless has stayed quiet on the topic. To the casual bystander it appeared that Sprint Nextel was pulling away with a huge lead, but Verizon Wireless has been holding its own in the upgrade race:
