About MobileTracker
Independent smartphone reviews built on real-world testing – not press releases.
Our Mission
Choosing a new phone is harder than it should be. Marketing departments flood the internet with spec sheets and sponsored posts, while the questions that actually matter – battery life during a long commute, camera quality in a dimly lit restaurant, how the phone feels after 8 hours in your hand – get buried.
MobileTracker exists to answer those questions honestly. We buy, borrow, or request review units and use them as daily drivers before writing a single word. No score is based on a 20-minute hands-on at a launch event.
How We Test
Every phone we review spends at least 7 days as a primary device. We run camera comparisons in consistent lighting, benchmark battery drain under real workloads, and stress-test performance with demanding apps and games.
How We Score
Our 10-point scoring system covers six categories: camera, performance, battery, display, design, and value. Category scores are averaged with weighting toward the areas that matter most to everyday users.
Affiliate Disclosure
We earn commissions on purchases made through our links at no extra cost to you. This never influences our scores or recommendations – phones are reviewed before any affiliate relationship is established. Read our full disclaimer.
What We Stand For
- Independence – We are not owned by any phone manufacturer or carrier. No brand gets final approval over our reviews.
- Transparency – We disclose when a unit was provided by the manufacturer and note if software was updated during testing.
- Consistency – We test every phone against the same criteria so comparisons across reviews are meaningful.
- Plain language – We translate specs into real-world impact. You will never need a glossary to read one of our reviews.
