Zeiss Optics: A Different School
Vivo’s partnership with Zeiss produces a distinctive photographic character. The T* coating on lenses reduces flare and ghosting dramatically – in bright backlit scenes, the X100 Ultra handles contrast more naturally than Samsung or Apple. Zeiss cinematic video mode reproduces the compressed bokeh of cinema lenses convincingly.
100W Charging: Fastest in Class
Filling a 5500mAh battery in under 35 minutes with 100W charging is extraordinary. Vivo includes the charger in the box (unlike Apple and Samsung). The 30W wireless charging is adequate if slower than OPPO or Xiaomi’s wireless charging leaders.
Build and Finish
The vegan leather back option on the X100 Ultra feels genuinely premium – warm, grippy, and resistant to fingerprints. The aerospace aluminium frame and ceramic glass front combine elegance with durability. This is a phone that feels special in hand.
