Push To Talk

Throughout the day, several media outlets have been discussing the recent development of "push to talk" phones. They sound basically like audio instant messengers. Instead of a ring, the voice message just blurts out. Unlike traditional "walkie-talkies" the audio messages are recorded and then sent (not live communications). Sounds like research teams don't think the tools that talk in movie theaters and nice restaurants are annoying enough.
