Treo 600 thoughts roll in
After yesterday's news, we've found a few reviews/first thoughts of the Handspring Treo 600
. Look for it in stores within the next week or two in Europe, and in November if you're in the US.
Walter Mossberg @ The Wall Street Journal - "I've been carrying a Sprint Treo 600 around for a couple of weeks and I love it. It's a great phone, an excellent mobile e-mail terminal and a full-fledged Palm-compatible PDA. I prefer it to any RIM BlackBerry model I have tested, and it blows away any of the PDA/phones based on Microsoft's Pocket PC operating system." [link]
Andrew Orlowski @ The Register - "Although many of the improvements are incremental, perception is everything and this is the first Handspring that looks like a phone, and does so without alienating loyal Palm users. Most importantly perhaps, Handspring has lost the cumbersome Perspex shield, which became notoriously prone to damage." [link]
