Research In Motion (maker of the popular BlackBerry devices) has inked deals with both Sony Ericsson and Motorola. The two companies can now license RIM's software to connect in with its BlackBerry servers. Basically this means Sony Ericsson and Motorola can make phones that are "BlackBerry enabled" which is a huge plus in the business world. Similar deals are in place with Nokia, PalmOne and others.
