Senate tries to stop mobile 411

A bill in the US Senate aims to put a stop to the mobile industry's latest money making idea--a mobile phone number directory. Consumers have rapidly switched from home phones to cell phones, and do not miss public directories. The bill would stop carriers from adding your number to a directory without your permission. Home phone numbers work the opposite way, you must op-out to not get listed.
