Verizon, Nextel stop fighting
Verizon Wireless and Nextel Communications yesterday agreed to stop fighting over spectrum and marketing. Verizon Wireless will no longer protest
the spectrum switch that is aimed to stop Nextel's interference with emergency radio spectrum. In return, Nextel agreed to allow Verizon Wireless to use "push-to-talk" in its push-to-talk marketing (Nextel had
filed a suit over it).
