Regional carrier ALLTEL has begun to offer picture messaging according to a release by the company. Axcess Picture Messaging is starting off free for the first month, but will cost $3.95 a month afterwards. That $3.95 will score unlimited picture messaging until July of '04, and then the ability to send or receive 30 pictures per month. Additional messages will cost 25¢.
ALLTEL's flagship camera enabled phone is the LG LX5450 which costs as little as $99.95 with a service agreement.
