Virgin Mobile UK has record quarter

Virgin Mobile UK had a great fourth quarter, according to its latest statement. Over 500,000 customers were added, making it Britain’s fastest growing carrier. The pay-as-you-go carrier has a 28% market share.
The success of the company has other media companies considering similar ventures. American TV icon MTV
in October 2003 partnered with Virgin Mobile USA to make a
MTV branded phone.
