Vodafone chief hints at Verizon Wireless stake sale
Vodafone CEO Arun Sarin
hinted at a possible sale of its 45% stake in US wireless leader Verizon Wireless. Once Cingular's purchase of AT&T Wireless is completed, Verizon Wireless will become the #2 US carrier.
Business Week thinks the recent Cingular / AT&T Wireless deal will
benefit Verizon Wireless. If this is the case, don't expect Vodafone to sell out.
