Our friends at PhoneScoop note that a new standard for EV-DO (cleverly named CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Revision A) adds support for video calling. Also new to the update is an increased upload speed (now 1.8 Mbps at peak). Verizon Wireless is rolling out EV-DO nationwide.
