Engadget found a
free PHP web application that allows you to check your Google
Gmail email from your mobile phone. The Gmail interface is currently too complicated for mobile phones to handle, though Google has hinted at making a "mobile" version in the near future. The software makes the Gmail code much more simple, thus allowing you to check it on the go.
Gmail has revolutionized free email by offering a full 1GB in storage.
