Nokia 7710 officially announced

The Nokia 7710 was today officially announced. While MobileTracker has run rumors and photos of the Series 90 device since September, Nokia only today confirmed the 7710's existence. Billed as a competitor to organizers from palmOne and HP, the Nokia 7710 will begin to ship in Asia starting this year. The device will launch in Europe in Q1 2005 and it is still unknown if the 7710 will ship in the US (no carrier has signed up yet, though Nokia is still trying to ink a deal). Features include: * Touch sensitive LCD (stylus included) * Built in web browser * Music player * Radio * Digital camera Expect to pay €500, or about $640 without a carrier subsidy.
