• The Motorola RAZR V3 launched on Cingular... Only to be removed--it should reappear on the 15th.
• The Nokia 7710 was officially announced
• Qualcomm is investing big in a nationwide mobile video network for CDMA phones
• Nokia is betting big on push-to-talk over cellular (PoC), released PoC software for some Series 60 phones
• Nokia announced new phones: the 6020 and the 3230
• Nokia launched a near field communications shell, a sign of the future
• Nokia's going to release more than 40 new phones in 2005--over 20 of them will be clamshell models. Stay tuned to MobileTracker for info on each.
• Verizon purchased $3 billion in spectrum from NextWave
• AT&T Wireless close to launching MPx220
