Skulls trojan on Symbian

There is a new malicious trojan horse going around that affects Symbian powered phones. According to security firm F-Secure, Skulls: "Is a SIS file that will replace the system applications with non-functional versions, so that all but the phone functionality will be disabled." The file is called "Extended theme.SIS" and claims to be a theme manager for the Nokia 7610. If you find this file, delete it. If you have already installed the application, do not restart your phone. There are directions at the F-Secure site (linked above) to delete the Skulls trojan before it does damage as long as the phone has not be restarted. [via Gizmodo]
