Motorola i355 launched by Nextel

As part of a large product launch today, Nextel has started selling the Motorola i355. The i355 is a ruggedized handset meant for rough use (like the Motorola i530). Features of the i355 include:

• All-weather design, meant to be used in the elements (Adheres to military 810F Spec)
• 128×128 pixel 65K color screen
• Voice-activated dialing

The Motorola i355 is beind sold for $99.99 with a new service agreement. Nextel also launched the i275 and i605 today.
