According to a report on Sprint enthusiast site PCS Intel, Sprint Nextel is planning on selling its iDEN network to the federal government. No worries for existing Nextel users though since this deal won't go down until around 2010.
Even more interesting, the report goes on to say that in exchange for all the spectrum Sprint is giving up, it will be able to net lots of other spectrum ripe for a WiMAX network.
