It's an update to the popular W800i which was the first Walkman branded device from Sony Ericsson (there are now several, including the W600i which is shipping from Cingular). The feature set hasn't changed too much, but there are also a few design tweaks.

  • Quad-band GSM plus EDGE
  • 20MB of built-in memory (which is less than the W800i) though it still comes with a 512MB Memory Stick Pro Duo card
  • Dedicated music buttons on the D-Pad
  • No lens cover for camera

Other featuresof the Sony Ericsson W810i remain the same as with the W800i, including: 176×220 pixel screen, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, 2 megapixel camera with auto focus, FM radio and a speakerphone.

We'll have more info on the W810i tonight, including live photos of it in action. Also stay tuned for other new products which are likely to be announced at the event.
