Sony Ericsson on phone launching blitz

Sony Ericsson announced four new phones today (W800i, K750i, J300, and K300) adding to the two 3G models announced at 3GSM World Congress last month. Reuters is reporting that the new handsets will continue: bq. "We'll launch more phones this year than last year, and next year we will launch more phones than this year," Miles Flint, President of Sony Ericsson Sony Ericsson will try to compete with market leaders Nokia and Motorola by launching more phones than it has in the past--Nokia expects to launch 40, about the same as Motorola. Also in the Reuters article is an interesting tidbit about upcoming music phones: bq. Sony Ericsson may consider putting more memory into its Walkman and camera phones, because competitors plan to announce handsets with hard disks of up to 4 gigabytes... Samsung may be the company in question, as the Samsung SPH-V5400 already has a 1.5GB hard drive.
