Today, international powerhouse News Corp. owners of Fox TV and Sky TV, announced a new portal, Mobizzo, to sell ringtones and graphics, leveraging in-house brands such as the Family Guy. Further, Mobizzo is planning to open a studio to develop ‘mobisodes’ like those developed for the VCAST launch.

Sprint Nextel and MTV announced that music and programming will be available from CMT, MTV, VH1, and Comedy Central on Sprint TV. Sprint subscribers will be able to select clips from, “CMT Insider”, “The Daily Show with John Stewart”, and Laguna Beach”, among others. It appears Sprint will be the first domestic U.S. provider to stream CMT, MTV, and VH1 Radio. CMT, Comedy Central, MTV, and VH1 are currently available for $5.95 each, per month.
