RAZR creeps back into stores

Mar 14 2006 - 04:52 PM ET | Cingular, Motorola, T-Mobile

The Motorola RAZR V3 is slowly making its way back into retail sales channels after being abruptly pulled last week by both Cingular and T-Mobile USA. Motorola detected a component issue in GSM models made starting in February. Units that have the corrected component are now shipping to carriers.

Select Cingular stores are now selling corrected RAZRs with more units currently on the way nationwide. T-Mobile stores expect to resume sales later in the week. Online sales for both carriers should resume shortly.

The RAZR is the top selling phone nationwide.
