Samsung announced the world's largest MMCmicro card this morning. At an impressive 2GB, the fingernail sized chip is designed expressly for mobile phones. MMCmicro is a competitor to microSD, but lags somewhat behind--a 2GB microSD chip has already been announced.
Samsung says the tiny chip can store up to 12 hours of mobile video but has fast enough transfer speed to be completely filled in just two minutes. An adapter comes with the chip to make it compatible with a standard multimedia card reader.
