Motorola C139 launched by Cingular

Cingular Wireless launched the entry-level Motorola C139 today. It's available only as a pre-paid handset, through Cingular's GoPhone program. The candybar style handset is light on features and focuses on price:

• GSM 850/1900
• 96×65 pixel screen with 65K colors
• Weight of just 3oz
• Battery life estimated at 11 hours talk, 18 days standby

The Motorola C139 is being offered at $39.99 without contract (pre-paid) and comes with a $10 airtime card. It's available now.
