Motorola L2 launched by Cingular

May 03 2006 - 03:34 PM ET | Cingular, Motorola

As expected, Cingular has launched the Motorola L2. At this time the phone is only launching for business and government employees, keeping the SLVR as the option for consumers. The Motorola L2 is basically a streamlined SLVR, doing away with features that businesses can take issues with (camera and music player).

Features that the L2 keeps include:

  • Bluetooth
  • Quad-band radio
  • Speakerphone
  • 128 × 160, 65K Color CSTN display

Cingular is selling the Motorola L2 for just $116.99 with contract through its B2B sales channel.

I love it! I needed a phone without a camera for work and I couldn't find one unless I downgraded. But now with the L2 I feel like I got an upgrade and I can bring it to work. Great job MOTO!
