Motorola RAZR MAXX announced

motorola razr maxx v6As part of a handset introduction for the second half of 2006, Motorola has unveiled the RAZR MAXX V6. Based on the now iconic RAZR, the RAZR MAXX is a HSDPA 3G handset. Cingular is currently ramping up its HSDPA network, so the MAXX might come stateside.

Features of the Motorola RAZR MAXX include:

  • WCDMA 2100, GSM 900/1800/1900, EDGE
  • QVGA screen with 256K colors, exterior display is 120×160
  • 2 megapixel camera for imaging, VGA camera for video calls
  • 50MB memory plus microSD card slot
  • Bluetooth (EDR Class 2), USB 2.0
  • Music player with touch sensitive keys on outer face
  • Size 53.3 × 104.1 × 15.24mm
